Airline drops Hanscom service to Greensboro

Shuttle America Inc., the bankrupt regional airline that set off a storm by
using Hanscom Field in Bedford, has dropped service from Hanscom to
Greensboro, N.C., via Trenton, N.J.  An airline spokesman said the carrier
is in a "short-term capacity crunch."

Creditors have taken back planes, cutting the Connecticut carrier's fleet in
half to three aircraft.  Shuttle America also has failed to make good on a
pledge to resume service from Hanscom to New York's LaGuardia Airport.
Spokesman Mark Cestari says Shuttle America expects to obtain an infusion of
cash from an investor.
