Liberty Mutual: Face the music

Liberty Mutual, a company that plans to run a $6.5 million project
renovating Hangar One at Hanscom Field, was not at a meeting of the Hanscom
Field Advisory Commission last week.

Whatever the reason, it was a bad decision.

In Lexington, like all Hanscom towns, residents take the issue of more jet
traffic and noise seriously. They want the opportunity to face the
developers and ask what they can do to stop or change the project.

Lexington resident Margaret Coppee had it right when she said, "It's an
insult to the commission. Liberty Mutual owes us a public apology and they
need to come to a meeting."
