Bolton firm tapped for high-tech plane billing contract
Boston Business Journal
Bolton-based Airport Auditing & Information Systems LLC was chosen by the Massachusetts Port Authority to provide a multicamera system at Hanscom Airport to monitor aircraft activity, Massport announced Wednesday.

The contract is worth about $750,000, according to Massport spokesman Jose Juves.

The camera system, in conjunction with computer software that allows for automatic billing, is designed to improve the collection of Massport fees. The camera/sotware package, called PlaneSight, is also expected to reduce administrative requirements by matching photographed aircraft tail numbers to a database that will produce various reports. This is expected to eliminate the need to record the data manually.

AAIS is also working with the Florida Department of Transportation to install the PlaneSight system, according to a Massport press release.
